Sponsored Video: Lux - Perfume Portraits featuring Katrina Kaif

“I think a fragrance is all about sensations and imagery, and can evoke visions, feelings and thoughts.” – Shakira

The saying, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, has become so clichéd that people roll their eyes when they hear it. Really, they ask. What about those women that are universally accepted as beautiful? It’s not just the beholder, it’s something about the woman too.

So when one of the world’s most beautiful women gets photographed by a professional, the results are bound to be impressive. That is what happened when the gorgeous Katrina Kaif was captured by the lens of talented photographer, Bhavesh Patel. Dressed in a beautiful purple gown, Katrina swishes and sways, and all the movements are captured, with results as stunning as these:

This is just one of the many snaps that bring out the young photographer’s talent. But wait, he’s not just any other fashion photographer; Bhavesh Patel is visually impaired. He can’t see anything, let alone capture exact movements happening in front of his lens.

So how does he do it? Bhavesh believes that a woman’s beauty isn’t restricted to what you see. It’s in her personality, which comes through in her laugh, her scent, her aura. He senses the fragrance of her beauty around him, and this helps him focus on capturing that perfect picture. Hear him speak in this video about his experience and how he could 'feel' Katrina’s beauty without seeing it:

So what do you think after watching this? Is beauty still in the eye of the beholder?
