Adriana Francesca Lima comes into the world on 12th 1981 in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. The blue-eyed Brazilian beauty owes her exotic appearance to her extremely rich blood mixture, including French, Portuguese, Native-American, and Caribbean heritage.
Her successful path to stardom begins when she wins the second place in the Ford Supermodel of the World Contest at the age of 13. However, the most remarkable model session of Adriana is her performance for Victoria's Secret summer 2000 swimwear catalog (shot in Cannes), where she works in the company of super models such as Heidi Klum and Laetitia Casta.
After her participation at elevision's Victoria's Secret fashion show in 2001 and 2003 her rating escalates to a considerable extent. In 2001 Adriana marks her first movie appearance: in The Hire: Follow where she co-stars Mickey Rourke.
