Finding Dory Announced After a Decade.

A decade after the original hit screens, the sequel to Finding Nemo has been given green light.

DeGeneres said in a statement, "I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is - it's got a lot more Dory."
Director Andrew Stanton is also returning for the new project, which will reprise characters including Nemo, Marlin and the Tank Gang Finding Dory will focus on Dory, the forgetful fish who helps Nemo's father, Marlin, find his son in the original film.
Ellen DeGeneres will return as the voice of Dory and the film is scheduled to hit screens on November 25, 2015.Finding Nemo was released in 2003 and grossed over $878 million at the box office worldwide, also pocketing an Academy Award.
