Safe ‘Sale’ing!!

‘Sale’ing??? Honestly Fab, you think you can just add new words via your blog??

Well, I’m not inventing new words or anything, couldn’t think of any other verb to describe the entire ‘end of season sale’ experience :-).

This post isn’t about how to survive the sales. You can read this for that. You can also read what goes through my mind at this time of the year here. This post is more of a warning to me to behave during this season.

I’m going to announce my sale list here, which should act as a deterrent if I ever risk going berserk at the sales :-). So here’s my list, in order of priority:

1. Proper Workout shoes (cross trainers) – Mine are worn out and could possibly have been the cause of my knee pain. So new ones are in order.

2. Dark blue Straight Leg Jeans – The last time I bought jeans was about 5 years ago. It’s time to renew.

3. Nude Wedges – Wardrobe basic. I have a pair of nude flats which aren’t cutting it.

4. Tops– I gave away quite a few tops to my sis, so I could do with a couple of new ones.

Yup, that’s my list. It probably appears frugal, but I hope to stick to it. As is obvious, the bulk of my budget is going towards the exercise shoes and jeans.

I’m going to stay away from kurtas. Got too many of them, some of which have been worn only once.

Since I’ll have to try out jeans and shoes, I’ll need to wear something really comfy, wrinkle free and easy to take off and put on. Something like this:

Let’s see how I fare with this list :-). Do you guys shop with a list during the sales? Or do you just go with an open mind, browse and pickup whatever catches your fancy??
