Australian batsman Phillip Hughes Dies After Hitting a Bouncer By Sean Abbott


Former Australian Test cricketer Phillip Hughes has been rushed to hospital after being knocked unconscious by a short delivery.
Hughes was on 63 batting for South Australia against New South Wales when he was hit by a bouncer from Sean Abbott at the Sydney Cricket Ground.


He was stretchered off and treated on the boundary. A helicopter arrived but he was taken to hospital by ambulance. Reports said he was in a critical condition. But now it has confirm the Australian batsman Phillip Hughes died from his injuries after being hit on the head NY a bouncer in a domestic game this week, never reigining consciousness.


"It is my sad duty to inform you that a short time ago phillip Hughes passed awat," Australian team doctor peter Brukner said in a statement. Phillip Hughes was only 25 year old.
