Twerk aside, Miley. Freida Pinto, of
fame, strips, pole-dances, and shares a backseat lip-lock with American pop star Bruno Mars in his sexy new track, "Gorilla."
The 28-year-old actress took a page out of Rihanna's recently controversial "Pour It Up" video, taking to the strip club as the "new girl in town." Bruno, the club's bandleader and target of Freida's sexual overtures, serenades our Indian starlet: "You got your legs up in the sky / With the devil in your eyes / Let me hear you say you want it all / Say it now, say it now."
In response to Bruno's aching verses, Freida unleashes a seductive stare down, bares her Sunday-best lingerie, bathes in the ensuing shower of dolla bills, and "makes love like [a] Gorilla" with Bruno in the backseat of his car.
Hold on, disapproving aunties. Before you forsake the Mumbai native, know that Freida is also a staunch advocate for education; last Friday, she spoke about the issue during the International Day of the Girl Child events. Noble, indeed! (But, of course, you are still sneering at the nangi ladki on the stripper pole.)
Over the past few years, Freida has been pushing the envelope (for us prudish desis) in her Hollywood turns. She has always been relatively conservative (for those licentious farangis)—for example, opting for a body double for her nude scene in Immortals. So Bruno's fourth single from his Unorthodox Jukebox album marks a big step for Freida. She's out of her comfort zone (and her clothes) and ready for the smokey, sexy American limelight.
